Unlike classical microscopy techniques that require specific sample preparation, X-ray microtomography can be operated on intact samples in their natural conditions –control of temperature and humidity- or on samples undergoing processes : mechanical stress, temperature ramp, etc. On demand, Novitom performs 3D image analysis to provide quantitative process follow-up or screening data.
